I haven’t been to this site for a while. also I hadn’t worked on my 66 either. but you give me inspiration to press on. sometimes I question whether it will be worth it, but I has to be right. biggest reason that I had stopped work was the expense on patch panels. just not comfortable about spending the money. I have lots of questions, but first one is how to best treat the inside of the double walled rocker panel. I have pretty solid panels except for very ends near rear wheel area. a flash light indicated debris and a little rust on the most inside surface. I took a wire brush on a long stick twisting while in-out motion thru a rust hole on end to clean out the best I can but somehow would like to treat inside with at very least a rust converter. before hiring welder to fix end of rocker panels and fender patch panels. any advice?
